Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Healthcare, Real Estate and Technology sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 0.76%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb), which rose 3.55% or 425.00 points to trade at 12,400.00 at the close. Meanwhile, AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CSE:MAERSKa) added 2.95% or 350.00 points to end at 12,230.00 and Danske Bank A/S (CSE:DANSKE) was up 1.93% or 3.20 points to 169.20 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Demant A/S (CSE:DEMANT), which fell 2.77% or 8.00 points to trade at 280.50 at the close. GN Store Nord (CSE:GN) declined 2.50% or 4.25 points to end at 165.90 and Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb) was down 1.84% or 2.05 points to 109.60.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 77 to 71 and 22 ended unchanged.
Shares in Danske Bank A/S (CSE:DANSKE) rose to 3-years highs; up 1.93% or 3.20 to 169.20.
Crude oil for August delivery was up 0.59% or 0.42 to $71.06 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 0.60% or 0.45 to hit $75.86 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.26% or 5.05 to trade at $1,934.45 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.09% to 6.83, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.01% to 7.45.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.07% at 102.66.
