Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Software & Computer Services, Technology and Personal & Household Goods sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 0.74%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Coloplast A/S (CSE:COLOb), which rose 1.34% or 11.20 points to trade at 844.80 at the close. Meanwhile, Novozymes A/S B (CSE:NSISb) added 0.93% or 3.90 points to end at 423.80 and Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb) was up 0.73% or 1.00 points to 138.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb), which fell 6.95% or 855.00 points to trade at 11,445.00 at the close. AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CSE:MAERSKa) declined 6.68% or 800.00 points to end at 11,170.00 and GN Store Nord (CSE:GN) was down 4.16% or 9.30 points to 214.50.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 80 to 57 and 13 ended unchanged.
Shares in Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb) rose to 52-week highs; up 0.73% or 1.00 to 138.00.
Crude oil for July delivery was up 0.12% or 0.09 to $77.83 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 0.21% or 0.17 to hit $81.80 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.10% or 2.30 to trade at $2,329.30 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.34% to 6.95, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.00% to 7.46.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.12% at 104.99.
