Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Personal & Household Goods and Consumer Goods sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 0.74%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were DSV (CO:DSV), which rose 1.46% or 9.0 points to trade at 627.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN) added 1.35% or 3.8 points to end at 285.3 and Novozymes A/S B (CO:NZYMb) was unchanged 0.00% or 0.0 points to 311.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS), which fell 2.87% or 17.4 points to trade at 589.6 at the close. GN Store Nord (CO:GN) declined 2.31% or 7.5 points to end at 317.5 and Oersted A/S (CO:ORSTED) was down 2.18% or 11.20 points to 503.20.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 81 to 38 and 26 ended unchanged.
Shares in DSV (CO:DSV) rose to all time highs; up 1.46% or 9.0 to 627.0.
Crude oil for June delivery was down 3.38% or 2.15 to $61.45 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 2.72% or 1.96 to hit $70.22 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.95% or 12.15 to trade at $1272.05 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.19% to 6.6800, while EUR/DKK rose 0.04% to 7.4663.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.16% at 97.562.
