Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Personal & Household Goods, Consumer Goods and Real Estate sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 0.73%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Coloplast A/S (CO:COLOb), which rose 1.48% or 8.0 points to trade at 548.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Dong Energy A/S (CO:DENERG) added 1.41% or 4.30 points to end at 309.30 and Nordea Bank AB (CO:NDA) was up 1.37% or 1.10 points to 81.20 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA), which fell 13.69% or 103.0 points to trade at 649.5 at the close. Novozymes A/S B (CO:NZYMb) declined 2.37% or 7.0 points to end at 288.5 and Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK) was down 0.99% or 3.9 points to 389.9.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 65 to 52 and 15 ended unchanged.
Shares in Dong Energy A/S (CO:DENERG) rose to all time highs; up 1.41% or 4.30 to 309.30.
Crude oil for September delivery was down 0.63% or 0.31 to $49.08 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 0.52% or 0.27 to hit $52.10 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.27% or 3.43 to trade at $1261.27 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.47% to 6.3362, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4394.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.32% at 93.60.
