Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Healthcare, Oil & Gas and Personal & Household Goods sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 0.73%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Simcorp A/S (CSE:SIM), which rose 2.15% or 15.5 points to trade at 736.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb) added 1.24% or 2.7 points to end at 219.9 and Danske Bank A/S (CSE:DANSKE) was up 0.10% or 0.1 points to 101.6 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Carlsberg A/S B (CSE:CARLb), which fell 1.78% or 16.8 points to trade at 928.0 at the close. AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb) declined 1.37% or 112 points to end at 8076 and Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb) was down 1.14% or 4.8 points to 416.9.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 70 to 59 and 22 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for September delivery was down 0.33% or 0.13 to $39.79 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 0.39% or 0.17 to hit $43.08 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 1.06% or 20.65 to trade at $1962.95 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.68% to 6.3248, while EUR/DKK rose 0.08% to 7.4481.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.46% at 93.440.
