Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Personal & Household Goods, Oil & Gas and Technology sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 0.73%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN), which rose 1.62% or 4.7 points to trade at 294.1 at the close. Meanwhile, Danske Bank A/S (CO:DANSKE) added 1.59% or 2.1 points to end at 137.6 and Ambu A/S (CO:AMBUb) was up 0.68% or 1.1 points to 162.5 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Genmab (CO:GEN), which fell 2.67% or 28.5 points to trade at 1038.5 at the close. Tryg A/S (CO:TRYG) declined 1.94% or 3.2 points to end at 162.1 and Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA) was down 1.88% or 5.4 points to 281.1.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 80 to 38 and 18 ended unchanged.
Shares in Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA) fell to 5-year lows; losing 1.88% or 5.4 to 281.1.
Crude oil for February delivery was down 4.84% or 2.43 to $47.77 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February fell 3.64% or 2.17 to hit $57.44 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.09% or 1.10 to trade at $1252.90 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.14% to 6.5713, while EUR/DKK rose 0.00% to 7.4677.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.03% at 96.520.
