Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Personal & Household Goods, Real Estate and Healthcare sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 0.71%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Oersted AS (CSE:ORSTED), which rose 4.49% or 16.60 points to trade at 386.70 at the close. Meanwhile, Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS) added 3.17% or 5.90 points to end at 191.90 and Danske Bank A/S (CSE:DANSKE) was up 2.92% or 5.75 points to 202.50 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CSE:MAERSKa), which fell 5.03% or 495.00 points to trade at 9,350.00 at the close. AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb) declined 3.36% or 339.00 points to end at 9,746.00 and Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA) was down 3.18% or 36.50 points to 1,113.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 84 to 64 and 11 ended unchanged.
Shares in AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CSE:MAERSKa) fell to 3-years lows; falling 5.03% or 495.00 to 9,350.00. Shares in AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb) fell to 3-years lows; falling 3.36% or 339.00 to 9,746.00. Shares in Danske Bank A/S (CSE:DANSKE) rose to 5-year highs; gaining 2.92% or 5.75 to 202.50.
Crude oil for April delivery was up 0.41% or 0.32 to $78.86 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May rose 0.28% or 0.23 to hit $82.38 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.51% or 10.45 to trade at $2,053.15 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.29% to 6.90, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.00% to 7.45.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.12% at 104.03.
