Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Consumer Services, Oil & Gas and Industrials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 0.70%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK), which rose 1.16% or 4.0 points to trade at 348.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Genmab (CO:GEN) added 0.92% or 9.2 points to end at 1004.0 and Carlsberg A/S B (CO:CARLb) was up 0.29% or 2.2 points to 752.8 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CO:MAERSKa), which fell 3.02% or 255 points to trade at 8185 at the close. AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO:MAERSKb) declined 2.67% or 238 points to end at 8672 and Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN) was down 2.45% or 11.6 points to 462.5.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 90 to 30 and 23 ended unchanged.
Shares in AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CO:MAERSKa) fell to 52-week lows; falling 3.02% or 255 to 8185. Shares in AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO:MAERSKb) fell to 52-week lows; losing 2.67% or 238 to 8672.
Crude oil for August delivery was down 0.57% or 0.39 to $68.19 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 1.57% or 1.18 to hit $74.14 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.25% or 3.20 to trade at $1267.50 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.38% to 6.3729, while EUR/DKK fell 0.03% to 7.4517.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.17% at 94.03.
