Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Healthcare, Software & Computer Services and Technology sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 0.69%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb), which rose 4.78% or 4.4 points to trade at 96.0 at the close. Meanwhile, FLSmidth & Co. (CSE:FLS) added 2.19% or 6.1 points to end at 284.7 and Danske Bank A/S (CSE:DANSKE) was up 1.73% or 1.7 points to 100.8 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were William Demant Holding A/S (CSE:DEMANT), which fell 2.33% or 4.8 points to trade at 201.2 at the close. Genmab (CSE:GEN) declined 1.72% or 20.5 points to end at 1168.0 and Coloplast A/S (CSE:COLOb) was down 1.70% or 12.8 points to 741.6.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 65 to 63 and 17 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for August delivery was up 2.71% or 1.57 to $59.40 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 2.16% or 1.39 to hit $65.67 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.10% or 1.45 to trade at $1417.25 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.15% to 6.5572, while EUR/DKK rose 0.03% to 7.4648.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.04% at 95.613.
