Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Financials, Healthcare and Industrials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 0.67%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Coloplast A/S (CO:COLOb), which rose 6.45% or 34.6 points to trade at 571.0 at the close. Meanwhile, FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS) added 4.51% or 18.5 points to end at 428.5 and Genmab (CO:GEN) was up 1.28% or 16.0 points to 1264.5 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Novo Nordisk A/S B (CO:NOVOb), which fell 2.28% or 7.0 points to trade at 300.0 at the close. Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK) declined 2.17% or 8.2 points to end at 368.9 and Danske Bank A/S (CO:DANSKE) was down 1.01% or 2.2 points to 215.8.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 66 to 63 and 12 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for June delivery was up 0.03% or 0.02 to $67.95 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 0.19% or 0.14 to hit $73.50 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.65% or 8.50 to trade at $1314.10 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.25% to 6.2179, while EUR/DKK fell 0.00% to 7.4494.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.30% at 92.31.
