Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Chemicals and Financials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 0.66%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were William Demant Holding A/S (CSE:DEMANT), which rose 6.85% or 13.1 points to trade at 204.3 at the close. Meanwhile, Genmab (CSE:GMAB) added 1.56% or 23.5 points to end at 1530.0 and Oersted A/S (CSE:ORSTED) was up 1.06% or 6.40 points to 612.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were DSV (CSE:DSV), which fell 2.07% or 15.4 points to trade at 728.6 at the close. Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb) declined 1.84% or 7.2 points to end at 383.2 and Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS) was down 1.42% or 9.2 points to 637.4.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 69 to 64 and 15 ended unchanged.
Shares in Genmab (CSE:GMAB) rose to all time highs; gaining 1.56% or 23.5 to 1530.0.
Crude oil for January delivery was down 1.68% or 0.97 to $56.86 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 1.74% or 1.10 to hit $62.20 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.28% or 4.15 to trade at $1472.65 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.27% to 6.7436, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4722.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.26% at 97.615.
