Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Industrials, Financials and Personal & Household Goods sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 0.66%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS), which rose 1.58% or 8.0 points to trade at 513.8 at the close. Meanwhile, Genmab (CO:GEN) added 0.69% or 6.6 points to end at 961.4 and Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN) was up 0.59% or 1.7 points to 288.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Danske Bank A/S (CO:DANSKE), which fell 4.00% or 5.0 points to trade at 120.0 at the close. AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO:MAERSKb) declined 3.20% or 278 points to end at 8412 and FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS) was down 2.56% or 7.9 points to 300.5.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 81 to 48 and 21 ended unchanged.
Shares in Danske Bank A/S (CO:DANSKE) fell to 5-year lows; falling 4.00% or 5.0 to 120.0.
Crude oil for March delivery was up 0.08% or 0.04 to $52.68 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April rose 0.47% or 0.29 to hit $61.92 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.34% or 4.45 to trade at $1318.65 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.11% to 6.5878, while EUR/DKK fell 0.02% to 7.4636.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.10% at 96.385.
