Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Consumer Goods and Personal & Household Goods sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 0.66%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CO:MAERSKa), which rose 3.27% or 350 points to trade at 11050 at the close. Meanwhile, AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO:MAERSKb) added 3.16% or 355 points to end at 11600 and DSV (CO:DSV) was up 0.41% or 2.0 points to 492.8 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS), which fell 3.79% or 16.7 points to trade at 423.7 at the close. Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA) declined 2.10% or 12.8 points to end at 596.4 and FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS) was down 1.84% or 6.7 points to 358.3.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 76 to 41 and 17 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for March delivery was up 0.51% or 0.33 to $64.80 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March fell 0.14% or 0.10 to hit $69.86 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 1.19% or 15.90 to trade at $1352.60 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.70% to 6.0109, while EUR/DKK rose 0.02% to 7.4460.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.82% at 89.14.
