Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Chemicals, Financials and Oil & Gas sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 0.65%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Coloplast A/S (CSE:COLOb), which rose 0.02% or 0.20 points to trade at 921.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Novozymes A/S B (CSE:NSISb) fell 0.44% or 1.70 points to end at 388.70 and Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb) was down 0.40% or 3.40 points to 857.20 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Rockwool International B (CSE:ROCKb), which fell 2.81% or 66.00 points to trade at 2,282.00 at the close. Danske Bank A/S (CSE:DANSKE) declined 1.91% or 4.00 points to end at 205.50 and Genmab (CSE:GMAB) was down 1.87% or 39.00 points to 2,045.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 88 to 25 and 20 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for May delivery was down 0.12% or 0.10 to $86.49 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June rose 0.12% or 0.11 to hit $90.76 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.03% or 0.75 to trade at $2,307.75 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was unchanged 0.00% to 6.88, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.00% to 7.46.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.14% at 104.04.
