Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Chemicals, Real Estate and Personal & Household Goods sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 0.65%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK), which rose 1.74% or 4.2 points to trade at 245.7 at the close. Meanwhile, Novozymes A/S B (CO:NZYMb) added 1.46% or 4.4 points to end at 306.6 and Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CO:CHRH) was up 1.04% or 6.4 points to 623.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Danske Bank A/S (CO:DANSKE), which fell 2.67% or 3.5 points to trade at 127.8 at the close. Genmab (CO:GEN) declined 2.47% or 27.5 points to end at 1084.5 and Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN) was down 1.47% or 4.4 points to 294.2.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 72 to 50 and 26 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for February delivery was down 0.21% or 0.11 to $52.25 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March fell 0.16% or 0.10 to hit $61.34 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.19% or 2.50 to trade at $1289.50 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.29% to 6.4871, while EUR/DKK fell 0.00% to 7.4645.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.29% at 95.062.
