Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Personal & Household Goods, Healthcare and Chemicals sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 0.64%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb), which rose 2.96% or 360.00 points to trade at 12,520.00 at the close. Meanwhile, AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CSE:MAERSKa) added 2.90% or 340.00 points to end at 12,050.00 and Danske Bank A/S (CSE:DANSKE) was up 1.55% or 3.20 points to 209.20 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Rockwool International B (CSE:ROCKb), which fell 1.53% or 40.00 points to trade at 2,580.00 at the close. Coloplast A/S (CSE:COLOb) declined 1.22% or 10.80 points to end at 876.00 and Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb) was down 1.15% or 9.00 points to 771.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 65 to 61 and 21 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for January delivery was down 0.32% or 0.22 to $68.32 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February fell 0.28% or 0.20 to hit $72.11 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.58% or 15.56 to trade at $2,660.64 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.55% to 7.06, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.01% to 7.46.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.42% at 105.84.
