Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Personal & Household Goods, Healthcare and Consumer Services sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 0.64%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb), which rose 2.43% or 182 points to trade at 7658 at the close. Meanwhile, ISS A/S (CSE:ISS) added 1.99% or 3.15 points to end at 161.55 and FLSmidth & Co. (CSE:FLS) was up 1.33% or 3.4 points to 259.7 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CSE:CHRH), which fell 9.22% or 53.4 points to trade at 525.8 at the close. Tryg A/S (CSE:TRYG) declined 4.20% or 8.1 points to end at 184.9 and GN Store Nord (CSE:GN) was down 2.29% or 6.2 points to 264.0.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 65 to 49 and 21 ended unchanged.
Shares in Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CSE:CHRH) fell to 52-week lows; losing 9.22% or 53.4 to 525.8.
Crude oil for November delivery was up 1.22% or 0.64 to $53.23 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 0.77% or 0.45 to hit $58.77 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.72% or 10.85 to trade at $1501.95 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.45% to 6.7770, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4676.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.45% at 98.375.
