Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Personal & Household Goods and Chemicals sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 0.63%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Jyske Bank A/S (CSE:JYSK), which rose 1.60% or 3.7 points to trade at 235.2 at the close. Meanwhile, FLSmidth & Co. (CSE:FLS) added 0.39% or 0.9 points to end at 233.5 and William Demant Holding A/S (CSE:DEMANT) was up 0.23% or 0.4 points to 175.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS), which fell 2.96% or 16.0 points to trade at 524.0 at the close. Tryg A/S (CSE:TRYG) declined 2.56% or 4.8 points to end at 182.9 and GN Store Nord (CSE:GN) was down 2.17% or 6.1 points to 274.8.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 75 to 45 and 20 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for November delivery was up 1.51% or 0.80 to $53.61 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 1.50% or 0.88 to hit $59.62 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.67% or 9.95 to trade at $1493.45 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.42% to 6.7423, while EUR/DKK rose 0.03% to 7.4711.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.37% at 97.643.
