Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Chemicals, Industrials and Financials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 0.63%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Ambu A/S (CO:AMBUb), which rose 8.55% or 13.6 points to trade at 172.6 at the close. Meanwhile, Oersted A/S (CO:ORSTED) added 1.71% or 7.90 points to end at 469.00 and Carlsberg A/S B (CO:CARLb) was up 1.17% or 8.6 points to 745.4 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS), which fell 6.36% or 20.7 points to trade at 304.9 at the close. ISS A/S (CO:ISS) declined 2.62% or 4.95 points to end at 184.25 and DSV (CO:DSV) was down 2.37% or 12.6 points to 519.4.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 82 to 49 and 14 ended unchanged.
Shares in Oersted A/S (CO:ORSTED) rose to all time highs; gaining 1.71% or 7.90 to 469.00.
Crude oil for March delivery was up 1.00% or 0.54 to $54.77 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April rose 0.32% or 0.20 to hit $61.74 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.73% or 9.65 to trade at $1325.15 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.34% to 6.5246, while EUR/DKK rose 0.06% to 7.4671.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.27% at 95.292.
