Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Personal & Household Goods, Healthcare and Oil & Gas sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 0.62%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Danske Bank A/S (CO:DANSKE), which rose 0.58% or 0.8 points to trade at 129.2 at the close. Meanwhile, Carlsberg A/S B (CO:CARLb) added 0.42% or 3.4 points to end at 817.4 and Coloplast A/S (CO:COLOb) was up 0.18% or 1.2 points to 678.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA), which fell 1.83% or 6.3 points to trade at 338.3 at the close. Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN) declined 1.64% or 5.0 points to end at 300.2 and Oersted A/S (CO:ORSTED) was down 1.55% or 7.60 points to 484.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 74 to 56 and 20 ended unchanged.
Shares in Carlsberg A/S B (CO:CARLb) rose to all time highs; rising 0.42% or 3.4 to 817.4.
Crude oil for April delivery was down 0.64% or 0.36 to $56.20 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May rose 0.12% or 0.08 to hit $65.94 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.14% or 1.85 to trade at $1286.55 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.01% to 6.5964, while EUR/DKK rose 0.03% to 7.4612.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.01% at 96.790.
