Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Chemicals, Real Estate and Oil & Gas sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 0.57%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA), which rose 1.22% or 13.00 points to trade at 1,082.50 at the close. Meanwhile, Jyske Bank A/S (CSE:JYSK) added 0.79% or 4.50 points to end at 573.00 and Genmab (CSE:GMAB) was up 0.46% or 9.00 points to 1,965.50 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Demant A/S (CSE:DEMANT), which fell 4.58% or 15.40 points to trade at 321.00 at the close. ISS A/S (CSE:ISS) declined 2.29% or 3.00 points to end at 128.20 and GN Store Nord (CSE:GN) was down 2.20% or 4.20 points to 186.40.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 81 to 52 and 24 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for June delivery was down 2.67% or 2.19 to $79.74 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 2.50% or 2.16 to hit $84.17 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.74% or 17.05 to trade at $2,319.95 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.15% to 6.98, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.00% to 7.46.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.03% at 106.07.
