Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Personal & Household Goods, Healthcare and Real Estate sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 0.57% to hit a new 1-month low.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb), which rose 2.38% or 4.4 points to trade at 189.5 at the close. Meanwhile, GN Store Nord (CSE:GN) added 2.09% or 8.0 points to end at 391.0 and Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS) was up 1.60% or 3.4 points to 215.7 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Rockwool International B (CSE:ROCKb), which fell 2.86% or 85 points to trade at 2887 at the close. Simcorp A/S (CSE:SIM) declined 2.72% or 19.2 points to end at 685.8 and Coloplast A/S (CSE:COLOb) was down 2.11% or 23.5 points to 1091.5.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 84 to 66 and 20 ended unchanged.
Shares in Simcorp A/S (CSE:SIM) fell to 52-week lows; falling 2.72% or 19.2 to 685.8.
Crude oil for January delivery was up 0.18% or 0.14 to $78.64 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 0.26% or 0.21 to hit $82.52 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.04% or 0.70 to trade at $1783.10 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.46% to 6.6409, while EUR/DKK rose 0.04% to 7.4371.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.38% at 96.862.
