Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Healthcare, Real Estate and Oil & Gas sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 0.56%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Danske Bank A/S (CSE:DANSKE), which rose 2.79% or 4.70 points to trade at 173.10 at the close. Meanwhile, ISS A/S (CSE:ISS) added 1.71% or 2.05 points to end at 121.95 and GN Store Nord (CSE:GN) was up 1.69% or 2.50 points to 150.80 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Demant A/S (CSE:DEMANT), which fell 1.70% or 4.70 points to trade at 271.20 at the close. Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb) declined 1.29% or 8.80 points to end at 674.00 and Genmab (CSE:GMAB) was down 0.94% or 21.00 points to 2,210.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 93 to 49 and 22 ended unchanged.
Shares in Danske Bank A/S (CSE:DANSKE) rose to 5-year highs; rising 2.79% or 4.70 to 173.10.
Crude oil for December delivery was down 1.47% or 1.15 to $77.11 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 1.08% or 0.89 to hit $81.58 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.00% or 0.05 to trade at $1,966.55 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.15% to 6.87, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.01% to 7.46.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.15% at 104.06.
