Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Chemicals, Personal & Household Goods and Oil & Gas sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 0.55% to hit a new 3-months low.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN), which rose 1.20% or 4.2 points to trade at 355.5 at the close. Meanwhile, Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CO:CHRH) added 0.98% or 5.5 points to end at 565.0 and DSV (CO:DSV) was up 0.78% or 3.8 points to 490.8 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA), which fell 4.88% or 28.5 points to trade at 556.0 at the close. FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS) declined 2.99% or 11.1 points to end at 360.5 and Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS) was down 2.87% or 11.7 points to 396.3.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 74 to 45 and 19 ended unchanged.
Shares in Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA) fell to 52-week lows; losing 4.88% or 28.5 to 556.0. Shares in Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS) fell to 52-week lows; losing 2.87% or 11.7 to 396.3.
Crude oil for December delivery was down 2.06% or 1.17 to $55.59 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 1.90% or 1.20 to hit $61.96 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.08% or 1.00 to trade at $1279.90 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.87% to 6.3216, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4409.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.56% at 93.87.
