Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Industrials, Oil & Gas and Consumer Goods sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 0.54% to hit a new 1-month low.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN), which rose 1.60% or 4.6 points to trade at 291.5 at the close. Meanwhile, Coloplast A/S (CO:COLOb) added 0.79% or 5.6 points to end at 711.2 and Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA) was up 0.30% or 0.8 points to 269.2 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO:MAERSKb), which fell 3.50% or 304 points to trade at 8392 at the close. Ambu A/S (CO:AMBUb) declined 2.42% or 4.3 points to end at 175.6 and FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS) was down 2.23% or 7.0 points to 307.0.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 97 to 32 and 19 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for June delivery was down 0.21% or 0.13 to $61.81 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 0.13% or 0.09 to hit $70.76 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.11% or 1.45 to trade at $1282.75 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.03% to 6.6661, while EUR/DKK rose 0.02% to 7.4663.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.03% at 97.290.
