Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Personal & Household Goods, Chemicals and Oil & Gas sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 0.54%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CO:CHRH), which rose 2.64% or 16.0 points to trade at 621.6 at the close. Meanwhile, FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS) added 2.10% or 7.8 points to end at 378.5 and Oersted A/S (CO:ORSTED) was up 1.52% or 6.00 points to 400.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA), which fell 4.13% or 18.1 points to trade at 419.9 at the close. AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO:MAERSKb) declined 2.84% or 226 points to end at 7732 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CO:MAERSKa) was down 2.83% or 215 points to 7380.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 71 to 45 and 21 ended unchanged.
Shares in Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA) fell to 3-years lows; falling 4.13% or 18.1 to 419.9. Shares in AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO:MAERSKb) fell to 52-week lows; losing 2.84% or 226 to 7732. Shares in AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CO:MAERSKa) fell to 52-week lows; losing 2.83% or 215 to 7380.
Crude oil for August delivery was down 1.23% or 0.91 to $73.23 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 0.42% or 0.33 to hit $77.91 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.39% or 4.90 to trade at $1258.40 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.31% to 6.3722, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4520.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.08% at 94.11.
