Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Personal & Household Goods, Software & Computer Services and Technology sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 0.51%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Coloplast A/S (CSE:COLOb), which rose 3.02% or 27.20 points to trade at 927.80 at the close. Meanwhile, Genmab (CSE:GMAB) added 2.42% or 62.00 points to end at 2,622.00 and Carlsberg A/S B (CSE:CARLb) was up 2.25% or 24.00 points to 1,092.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb), which fell 3.49% or 415.00 points to trade at 11,470.00 at the close. AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CSE:MAERSKa) declined 3.07% or 360.00 points to end at 11,360.00 and DSV Panalpina A/S (CSE:DSV) was down 2.36% or 30.00 points to 1,242.50.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 81 to 59 and 20 ended unchanged.
Shares in AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb) fell to 52-week lows; falling 3.49% or 415.00 to 11,470.00. Shares in AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CSE:MAERSKa) fell to 52-week lows; falling 3.07% or 360.00 to 11,360.00. Shares in Carlsberg A/S B (CSE:CARLb) rose to 52-week highs; rising 2.25% or 24.00 to 1,092.00.
Crude oil for May delivery was down 0.38% or 0.31 to $80.40 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June fell 0.15% or 0.13 to hit $84.81 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.20% or 4.05 to trade at $2,034.15 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.35% to 6.82, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.05% to 7.45.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.19% at 101.46.
