Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Chemicals, Oil & Gas and Personal & Household Goods sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 0.50%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb), which rose 4.61% or 5.7 points to trade at 128.2 at the close. Meanwhile, Chr Hansen Holding A/S (CSE:CHRH) added 1.90% or 9.0 points to end at 482.0 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CSE:MAERSKa) was up 1.20% or 260 points to 22000 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS), which fell 2.52% or 4.2 points to trade at 164.2 at the close. Demant A/S (CSE:DEMANT) declined 2.50% or 7.0 points to end at 272.8 and Orsted A/S (CSE:ORSTED) was down 2.09% or 14.40 points to 676.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 86 to 74 and 14 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for March delivery was up 1.83% or 1.64 to $91.30 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April rose 1.31% or 1.20 to hit $92.75 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.20% or 3.65 to trade at $1840.25 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.56% to 6.4766, while EUR/DKK fell 0.00% to 7.4391.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.28% at 95.222.
