Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Healthcare, Personal & Household Goods and Consumer Goods sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 0.49%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS), which rose 4.15% or 41.0 points to trade at 1030.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Danske Bank A/S (CSE:DANSKE) added 1.89% or 1.6 points to end at 86.1 and Lundbeck A/S (CSE:LUN) was up 0.92% or 1.9 points to 209.5 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Royal Unibrew A/S (CSE:RBREW), which fell 3.87% or 26 points to trade at 656 at the close. Genmab (CSE:GMAB) declined 2.29% or 54.0 points to end at 2300.0 and Novozymes A/S B (CSE:NZYMb) was down 1.70% or 6.9 points to 399.9.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 77 to 58 and 19 ended unchanged.
Shares in Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS) rose to all time highs; gaining 4.15% or 41.0 to 1030.0.
Crude oil for November delivery was up 1.40% or 0.55 to $39.84 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 0.87% or 0.36 to hit $41.92 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.08% or 1.45 to trade at $1901.75 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.21% to 6.3532, while EUR/DKK fell 0.01% to 7.4433.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.00% at 93.925.
