Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Technology, Software & Computer Services and Consumer Goods sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 0.49%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS), which rose 1.12% or 4.5 points to trade at 407.3 at the close. Meanwhile, ISS A/S (CO:ISS) added 0.64% or 1.50 points to end at 237.60 and Genmab (CO:GEN) was up 0.62% or 7.0 points to 1136.5 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CO:CHRH), which fell 1.74% or 12.0 points to trade at 678.0 at the close. Carlsberg A/S B (CO:CARLb) declined 1.20% or 9.4 points to end at 775.4 and Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN) was down 1.14% or 5.3 points to 460.5.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 74 to 43 and 20 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for September delivery was up 1.99% or 1.37 to $70.06 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 1.06% or 0.79 to hit $75.55 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.16% or 2.00 to trade at $1221.00 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.50% to 6.3590, while EUR/DKK fell 0.01% to 7.4486.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.40% at 94.09.
