Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Personal & Household Goods, Chemicals and Oil & Gas sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 0.47%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb), which rose 0.73% or 2.5 points to trade at 336.4 at the close. Meanwhile, Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb) added 0.43% or 0.5 points to end at 104.5 and Genmab (CSE:GMAB) was up 0.43% or 5.5 points to 1275.5 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA), which fell 4.22% or 10.2 points to trade at 231.7 at the close. Novozymes A/S B (CSE:NZYMb) declined 3.81% or 11.1 points to end at 280.4 and Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS) was down 2.48% or 13.6 points to 535.4.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 85 to 33 and 19 ended unchanged.
Shares in Genmab (CSE:GMAB) rose to 52-week highs; gaining 0.43% or 5.5 to 1275.5.
Crude oil for September delivery was up 0.75% or 0.41 to $54.91 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 0.34% or 0.20 to hit $58.73 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.60% or 9.05 to trade at $1517.55 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.08% to 6.6571, while EUR/DKK rose 0.02% to 7.4636.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.07% at 97.252.
