Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Healthcare, Real Estate and Consumer Goods sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 0.47%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK), which rose 2.31% or 5.7 points to trade at 252.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA) added 1.80% or 5.5 points to end at 310.3 and Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS) was up 1.25% or 6.8 points to 550.8 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were GN Store Nord (CO:GN), which fell 5.19% or 16.5 points to trade at 301.5 at the close. Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN) declined 3.46% or 10.2 points to end at 284.3 and William Demant Holding A/S (CO:DEMANT) was down 2.72% or 5.6 points to 200.4.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 68 to 56 and 21 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for May delivery was down 0.97% or 0.58 to $59.36 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June fell 0.37% or 0.25 to hit $67.18 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.40% or 5.25 to trade at $1316.15 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.10% to 6.6329, while EUR/DKK rose 0.04% to 7.4664.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.14% at 96.363.
