Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Chemicals and Financials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 0.47%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Genmab (CO:GEN), which rose 6.04% or 51.6 points to trade at 906.4 at the close. Meanwhile, FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS) added 1.18% or 4.0 points to end at 343.4 and Ambu A/S (CO:AMBUb) was up 1.07% or 1.4 points to 131.9 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK), which fell 10.79% or 31.7 points to trade at 262.0 at the close. Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS) declined 3.97% or 16.8 points to end at 406.4 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO:MAERSKb) was down 1.90% or 156 points to 8076.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 75 to 44 and 18 ended unchanged.
Shares in Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK) fell to 52-week lows; losing 10.79% or 31.7 to 262.0.
Crude oil for December delivery was down 1.10% or 0.74 to $66.30 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 1.63% or 1.26 to hit $76.08 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.62% or 7.60 to trade at $1224.90 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.07% to 6.5654, while EUR/DKK rose 0.00% to 7.4617.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.28% at 96.62.
