Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Personal & Household Goods and Industrials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 0.47%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Danske Bank A/S (CO:DANSKE), which rose 2.10% or 5.1 points to trade at 248.4 at the close. Meanwhile, Genmab (CO:GEN) added 1.69% or 19.5 points to end at 1172.0 and Oersted A/S (CO:ORSTED) was up 1.47% or 5.00 points to 346.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO:MAERSKb), which fell 2.76% or 315 points to trade at 11115 at the close. Novozymes A/S B (CO:NZYMb) declined 2.51% or 8.9 points to end at 346.1 and Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS) was down 2.49% or 10.8 points to 423.6.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 69 to 55 and 21 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for February delivery was up 0.48% or 0.30 to $63.26 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March rose 0.07% or 0.05 to hit $68.87 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.29% or 3.80 to trade at $1317.50 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.16% to 6.2283, while EUR/DKK rose 0.00% to 7.4470.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.21% at 92.04.
