Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Personal & Household Goods, Chemicals and Software & Computer Services sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 0.46%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb), which rose 5.11% or 5.1 points to trade at 105.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Carlsberg A/S B (CSE:CARLb) added 0.59% or 5.8 points to end at 990.8 and Lundbeck A/S (CSE:LUN) was up 0.20% or 0.5 points to 245.5 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA), which fell 6.86% or 21.8 points to trade at 295.8 at the close. Jyske Bank A/S (CSE:JYSK) declined 1.77% or 3.4 points to end at 185.8 and GN Store Nord (CSE:GN) was down 1.73% or 5.0 points to 283.2.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 79 to 41 and 15 ended unchanged.
Shares in Jyske Bank A/S (CSE:JYSK) fell to 5-year lows; falling 1.77% or 3.4 to 185.8.
Crude oil for October delivery was up 1.20% or 0.66 to $55.59 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 1.25% or 0.74 to hit $59.77 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.35% or 5.45 to trade at $1546.35 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.10% to 6.7302, while EUR/DKK rose 0.00% to 7.4564.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.19% at 98.093.
