Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Chemicals, Software & Computer Services and Technology sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 0.45%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Danske Bank A/S (CSE:DANSKE), which rose 8.08% or 14.95 points to trade at 200.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Jyske Bank A/S (CSE:JYSK) added 1.75% or 9.20 points to end at 534.60 and Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA) was up 1.69% or 16.90 points to 1,016.50 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb), which fell 3.94% or 4.40 points to trade at 107.20 at the close. Oersted AS (CSE:ORSTED) declined 2.31% or 9.10 points to end at 384.30 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb) was down 2.17% or 270.00 points to 12,185.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 77 to 60 and 21 ended unchanged.
Shares in Danske Bank A/S (CSE:DANSKE) rose to 5-year highs; gaining 8.08% or 14.95 to 200.00.
Crude oil for March delivery was down 2.03% or 1.50 to $72.32 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April fell 1.63% or 1.28 to hit $77.42 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.92% or 19.15 to trade at $2,051.95 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.74% to 6.91, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.01% to 7.45.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.85% at 103.75.
