Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Chemicals and Healthcare sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 0.45%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb), which rose 3.63% or 2.56 points to trade at 73.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA) added 1.66% or 8.60 points to end at 527.60 and Chr Hansen Holding A/S (CSE:CHRH) was up 1.64% or 7.40 points to 459.30 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS), which fell 4.28% or 8.32 points to trade at 186.00 at the close. AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb) declined 1.24% or 260.00 points to end at 20,690.00 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CSE:MAERSKa) was down 1.16% or 240.00 points to 20,380.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 74 to 72 and 21 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for September delivery was up 1.40% or 1.25 to $90.26 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 1.46% or 1.39 to hit $96.31 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.81% or 14.50 to trade at $1,805.70 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.35% to 7.28, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.01% to 7.44.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.44% at 106.02.
