Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Chemicals, Industrials and Consumer Services sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 0.44%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Oersted A/S (CSE:ORSTED), which rose 3.13% or 23.60 points to trade at 777.40 at the close. Meanwhile, Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS) added 1.45% or 9.6 points to end at 673.2 and Genmab (CSE:GMAB) was up 1.43% or 30.0 points to 2128.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb), which fell 2.82% or 226 points to trade at 7782 at the close. Royal Unibrew A/S (CSE:RBREW) declined 2.17% or 12 points to end at 558 and William Demant Holding A/S (CSE:DEMANT) was down 1.72% or 3.3 points to 188.6.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 93 to 38 and 12 ended unchanged.
Shares in Genmab (CSE:GMAB) rose to all time highs; rising 1.43% or 30.0 to 2128.0.
Crude oil for August delivery was up 1.13% or 0.45 to $40.28 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 1.04% or 0.44 to hit $42.63 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.92% or 16.10 to trade at $1769.10 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.73% to 6.6213, while EUR/DKK fell 0.06% to 7.4550.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.59% at 97.002.
