Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Personal & Household Goods, Healthcare and Chemicals sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 0.43%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Netcompany Group (CSE:NETCG), which rose 19.59% or 53.40 points to trade at 326.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Tryg A/S (CSE:TRYG) added 1.93% or 3.10 points to end at 163.80 and Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS) was up 1.67% or 2.62 points to 159.70 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb), which fell 5.85% or 890.00 points to trade at 14,325.00 at the close. AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CSE:MAERSKa) declined 5.00% or 730.00 points to end at 13,870.00 and Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb) was down 3.45% or 3.04 points to 85.10.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 79 to 65 and 20 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for December delivery was down 1.20% or 1.08 to $88.92 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 0.78% or 0.75 to hit $95.41 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 1.30% or 21.45 to trade at $1,628.55 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.67% to 7.63, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.02% to 7.44.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 1.41% at 112.79.
