Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Personal & Household Goods, Chemicals and Healthcare sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 0.43%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb), which rose 2.29% or 2.3 points to trade at 101.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Oersted A/S (CSE:ORSTED) added 1.21% or 7.60 points to end at 634.40 and Carlsberg A/S B (CSE:CARLb) was up 0.65% or 5.8 points to 898.8 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA), which fell 4.80% or 12.9 points to trade at 255.6 at the close. ISS A/S (CSE:ISS) declined 3.15% or 6.10 points to end at 187.70 and Lundbeck A/S (CSE:LUN) was down 2.93% or 7.6 points to 251.8.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 61 to 53 and 24 ended unchanged.
Shares in Oersted A/S (CSE:ORSTED) rose to all time highs; gaining 1.21% or 7.60 to 634.40.
Crude oil for August delivery was up 0.27% or 0.15 to $55.45 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 0.61% or 0.38 to hit $62.31 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.09% or 1.35 to trade at $1426.75 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.44% to 6.6502, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4652.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.34% at 96.778.
