Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Financials, Healthcare and Chemicals sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 0.43%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Coloplast A/S (CO:COLOb), which rose 3.16% or 18.2 points to trade at 594.6 at the close. Meanwhile, Nordea Bank AB (CO:NDA) added 2.09% or 1.32 points to end at 64.52 and Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN) was up 2.03% or 8.2 points to 411.3 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Genmab (CO:GEN), which fell 4.67% or 61.0 points to trade at 1244.0 at the close. Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK) declined 3.65% or 13.6 points to end at 359.0 and Oersted A/S (CO:ORSTED) was down 3.07% or 12.70 points to 400.80.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 65 to 52 and 22 ended unchanged.
Shares in Coloplast A/S (CO:COLOb) rose to 5-year highs; up 3.16% or 18.2 to 594.6.
Crude oil for June delivery was up 3.08% or 2.13 to $71.19 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 3.01% or 2.25 to hit $77.10 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.12% or 1.60 to trade at $1312.10 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.19% to 6.2898, while EUR/DKK fell 0.01% to 7.4500.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.02% at 92.92.
