Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Financials and Industrials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 0.40%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Novozymes A/S B (CO:NZYMb), which rose 3.24% or 8.7 points to trade at 276.9 at the close. Meanwhile, Genmab (CO:GEN) added 2.48% or 23.6 points to end at 974.2 and Oersted A/S (CO:ORSTED) was up 1.59% or 7.20 points to 460.40 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS), which fell 2.23% or 7.4 points to trade at 324.3 at the close. Danske Bank A/S (CO:DANSKE) declined 2.16% or 2.7 points to end at 122.5 and Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK) was down 1.66% or 4.2 points to 248.5.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 80 to 43 and 19 ended unchanged.
Shares in Danske Bank A/S (CO:DANSKE) fell to 5-year lows; losing 2.16% or 2.7 to 122.5.
Crude oil for March delivery was down 3.71% or 1.99 to $51.70 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April fell 3.10% or 1.91 to hit $59.68 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.35% or 4.55 to trade at $1302.65 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.27% to 6.5267, while EUR/DKK fell 0.01% to 7.4646.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.12% at 95.347.
