Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Chemicals, Oil & Gas and Technology sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 0.39%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA), which rose 3.60% or 20.5 points to trade at 590.5 at the close. Meanwhile, Novo Nordisk A/S B (CO:NOVOb) added 0.53% or 1.7 points to end at 319.5 and Novozymes A/S B (CO:NZYMb) was down 0.34% or 1.1 points to 326.6 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK), which fell 3.12% or 11.5 points to trade at 356.6 at the close. GN Store Nord (CO:GN) declined 2.88% or 6.0 points to end at 202.0 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CO:MAERSKa) was down 1.91% or 220 points to 11290.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 90 to 32 and 15 ended unchanged.
Shares in Novo Nordisk A/S B (CO:NOVOb) rose to 52-week highs; up 0.53% or 1.7 to 319.5.
Crude oil for November delivery was down 1.27% or 0.66 to $51.38 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 1.58% or 0.92 to hit $57.23 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.48% or 6.11 to trade at $1289.11 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.41% to 6.2895, while EUR/DKK fell 0.01% to 7.4434.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.25% at 93.07.
