Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Chemicals, Personal & Household Goods and Industrials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 0.39%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb), which rose 1.90% or 2.6 points to trade at 139.8 at the close. Meanwhile, Danske Bank A/S (CSE:DANSKE) added 1.23% or 1.4 points to end at 119.2 and Oersted A/S (CSE:ORSTED) was up 0.44% or 3.20 points to 729.20 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA), which fell 2.79% or 10.1 points to trade at 351.3 at the close. DSV (CSE:DSV) declined 2.17% or 17.0 points to end at 767.6 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb) was down 1.70% or 142 points to 8188.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 73 to 62 and 18 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for March delivery was down 1.57% or 0.79 to $49.53 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April fell 2.18% or 1.19 to hit $53.28 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.42% or 6.55 to trade at $1579.95 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.28% to 6.8449, while EUR/DKK rose 0.05% to 7.4728.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.15% at 98.715.
