Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Financials, Technology and Chemicals sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 0.37%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Tryg A/S (CSE:TRYG), which rose 1.48% or 2.9 points to trade at 199.2 at the close. Meanwhile, Simcorp A/S (CSE:SIM) added 1.06% or 7.5 points to end at 716.0 and Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA) was up 0.92% or 3.7 points to 404.9 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were William Demant Holding A/S (CSE:DEMANT), which fell 2.70% or 5.3 points to trade at 191.0 at the close. Genmab (CSE:GMAB) declined 2.14% or 50.0 points to end at 2289.0 and Lundbeck A/S (CSE:LUN) was down 1.58% or 3.8 points to 237.2.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 66 to 61 and 22 ended unchanged.
Shares in Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA) rose to 52-week highs; rising 0.92% or 3.7 to 404.9.
Crude oil for August delivery was down 0.87% or 0.36 to $40.84 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 0.87% or 0.38 to hit $43.41 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.52% or 9.45 to trade at $1804.35 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.06% to 6.5213, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4457.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.05% at 95.993.
