Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Personal & Household Goods, Healthcare and Consumer Goods sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 0.37%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS), which rose 0.57% or 3.2 points to trade at 567.6 at the close. Meanwhile, AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb) added 0.50% or 36 points to end at 7226 and Danske Bank A/S (CSE:DANSKE) was up 0.45% or 0.5 points to 111.8 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA), which fell 3.67% or 8.5 points to trade at 223.0 at the close. Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CSE:CHRH) declined 1.79% or 13.4 points to end at 733.6 and Novozymes A/S B (CSE:NZYMb) was down 1.49% or 4.7 points to 310.0.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 72 to 60 and 16 ended unchanged.
Shares in Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA) fell to 5-year lows; losing 3.67% or 8.5 to 223.0.
Crude oil for July delivery was up 2.05% or 1.05 to $52.19 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 2.05% or 1.23 to hit $61.20 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.52% or 6.95 to trade at $1343.75 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.09% to 6.6214, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4673.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.06% at 97.028.
