Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Chemicals, Consumer Services and Personal & Household Goods sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 0.36%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Danske Bank A/S (CSE:DANSKE), which rose 2.23% or 2.1 points to trade at 96.5 at the close. Meanwhile, Novozymes A/S B (CSE:NZYMb) added 1.33% or 4.4 points to end at 334.3 and Oersted A/S (CSE:ORSTED) was up 0.80% or 5.00 points to 630.20 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb), which fell 3.34% or 3.9 points to trade at 113.0 at the close. DSV (CSE:DSV) declined 2.23% or 17.0 points to end at 745.0 and ISS A/S (CSE:ISS) was down 2.15% or 3.40 points to 155.10.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 86 to 51 and 9 ended unchanged.
Shares in Novozymes A/S B (CSE:NZYMb) rose to 52-week highs; gaining 1.33% or 4.4 to 334.3.
Crude oil for January delivery was down 0.32% or 0.19 to $59.01 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February fell 0.31% or 0.20 to hit $64.19 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.01% or 0.15 to trade at $1465.25 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.01% to 6.7550, while EUR/DKK rose 0.07% to 7.4737.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.05% at 97.615.
