Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Chemicals, Personal & Household Goods and Consumer Services sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 0.35% to hit a new 52-week low.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were DSV (CO:DSV), which rose 2.83% or 15.6 points to trade at 566.6 at the close. Meanwhile, Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CO:CHRH) added 1.32% or 8.2 points to end at 628.2 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO:MAERSKb) was up 1.07% or 90 points to 8480 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Ambu A/S (CO:AMBUb), which fell 3.79% or 5.5 points to trade at 139.8 at the close. Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA) declined 2.23% or 8.6 points to end at 377.3 and Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN) was down 2.19% or 8.6 points to 383.9.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 82 to 36 and 16 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for November delivery was up 0.65% or 0.48 to $74.77 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 0.93% or 0.78 to hit $84.69 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.25% or 3.00 to trade at $1191.60 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.05% to 6.4952, while EUR/DKK fell 0.01% to 7.4598.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.01% at 95.43.
