Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Healthcare, Consumer Goods and Consumer Services sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 0.34%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Danske Bank A/S (CSE:DANSKE), which rose 5.25% or 4.5 points to trade at 90.6 at the close. Meanwhile, AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb) added 3.74% or 276 points to end at 7646 and Jyske Bank A/S (CSE:JYSK) was up 3.40% or 6.5 points to 196.1 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb), which fell 1.96% or 7.1 points to trade at 355.1 at the close. Novozymes A/S B (CSE:NZYMb) declined 1.49% or 4.4 points to end at 290.3 and Genmab (CSE:GMAB) was down 0.69% or 10.0 points to 1430.0.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 90 to 48 and 16 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for October delivery was up 1.55% or 0.87 to $57.13 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 1.65% or 1.00 to hit $61.70 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 2.21% or 34.55 to trade at $1525.85 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.01% to 6.7593, while EUR/DKK rose 0.04% to 7.4603.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.03% at 98.368.
