Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Personal & Household Goods, Software & Computer Services and Technology sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 0.33%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS), which rose 2.25% or 4.45 points to trade at 202.50 at the close. Meanwhile, Jyske Bank A/S (CSE:JYSK) added 2.12% or 11.50 points to end at 554.50 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CSE:MAERSKa) was up 1.79% or 210.00 points to 11,920.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Demant A/S (CSE:DEMANT), which fell 2.51% or 8.40 points to trade at 326.60 at the close. Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA) declined 2.20% or 25.00 points to end at 1,113.50 and Coloplast A/S (CSE:COLOb) was down 1.96% or 16.80 points to 842.40.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 72 to 67 and 18 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for July delivery was up 2.47% or 1.92 to $79.64 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 1.03% or 0.85 to hit $83.73 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 1.08% or 25.20 to trade at $2,359.70 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.14% to 6.86, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.01% to 7.46.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.25% at 104.38.
